Handy TV-watching Page for Spectrum Program Schedule
Gone are the days, I guess, when many of us kept the old cable channel list card handy on an end table, or the TV Guide. Although some of us still do!
One of the features I visit most often on the Spectrum (Bright House) website is the "Watch" page.
This is located at the following web address:
https://watch.spectrum.net/
There are five primary "tab" areas - My Library, Live TV, Guide, OnDemand, and Settings.
The feature I use most often is the Guide. This features lets you browse vertically by channel and horizontally by time (and day) to check specifics on programs being shown.
Also, you can click on any program listed on the grid to get a display with further details about the program content.
MyLibrary is where you can save "favorite" program shortcuts.
LiveTV is where you can stream and view TV programs on your computer. It's organized by channel.
On Demand is where you can go to browse a full array of programs highlighted for viewing including those available for your level of service as well as others available if you opt in to additional service options.
It's organized by Featured programs, TV Shows, Movies, Kids, and Networks.
Your Settings area is where you can selected favorite channels, and set options like parental controls and Auto Play.
You'll also find a Menu link on the Watch page where you can go to manage your Spectrum account, and a Get Support link for help.
A search icon is available on the page to search for movies, sports, TV shows, networks and people.
These features work best if you are using your computer on a Spectrum internet connection.
But so long as you are logged in with your Spectrum ID and password you can access the website and viewing even through other internet connections, using almost any computer or a variety of devices.
Like most neighbors, I do most of my viewing through HDTV. But having the option to stream on my computer can be convenient.
Plus, I especially like having the program Guide feature available during the day to check on programs I might watch later in the evening.
Getting set up does not take long, but sometimes requires some verification of ID, password and other security steps initially.
