General Tips, Links for Tracking Shipments
Shipment Tracking, UPS, Fedex and USPS info and links
Hello computer friends - here are a few tips and some info that might be helpful since many of us during the Covid-19 situation are relying a lot more upon online ordering and delivery.
Tracking shipments online
Most online ordering that we do relies on USPS, UPS, or Fedex delivery services, sometimes more than one of these, or sometimes one of these in combination with another local or regional carrier.
All the major online ordering portals are set up with fairly good delivery tracking options, including links to the tracking interface and identification of shipment number.
However good delivery systems usually are, currently these systems are being stretched. The online business where you have place an order usually should provide good tracking access. But sometimes you may want to go directly to the carrier website to check on your shipment:
Smaller online sellers may not host tracking features on their own websites, but many do provide shipment identification information to track your delivery through the carrier.
USPS has an online tracking feature at https://www.usps.com/manage
UPS has an online tracking feature at https://www.ups.com/track
Fedex has an online tracking feature at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html
All that you need to use these features is the shipment number corresponding to your order, which should be involved in the retail portal interface.
