VoteMarion Offers Convenient Online Options for Voters

Election days are coming up here in Marion County again and if you haven't taken advantage of the online options it's something to consider.

Details on elections and voting information can be found at https://www.votemarion.com/, the website of Marion County Supervisor of Elections Wesley Wilcox.

Among other services that the website provides to Marion voters is the option to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot for upcoming election(s).

This option is one that lots of us have used for years. Given the Covid-19 situation this year, many more of us consider during the election cycle ahead.

The deadline to request that a Vote-By-Mail ballot be mailed to you is no later than 5 p.m. on the 10th day before the election. If the deadline has passed, you may still vote during Early Voting or on Election Day.

To request a Vote-By-Mail ballot online, you can go to the go to the Mail Ballot Request service page on the above webpage, at https://www.votemarion.com/mbrs.

If you receive regular updates on elections at your residential address, you should have received a mailing recently with a mail-in request form for Vote-By-Mail ballot. Doing an online request though may be just as convenient as mailing in a request if you handle a lot of your routine household tasks online.

Viewable sample ballots also are accessible on the supervisor of elections website.
